Why the Burning Bush?
Very likely you are wondering why the burning bush is being used as the logo for this website. The burning bush has been the symbol of the Presbyterian Church of Scotland since the seventeenth century. "The bush was not consumed" is found in Exodus 3:2, and represents the condition of the Church, which is in a fire of affliction, yet God is present with it. Thus this vision that Moses received was a pledge from God to protect and never leave his Church.
